Sunlight shines on the photoresistor, the resistance of the photoresistor will change, and the changed small current is amplified by the transistor to drive the LED to emit light. The resistance of the photoresistor becomes smaller when the sun shines on it during the day, no forward current flows through the base of the triode, and the LED does not emit light. When there is no light or insufficient light, the resistance of the photoresistor becomes larger, the transistor is turned on, and the LED emits light.
